Someone talked to an agent at Hulu and got a response that might bring us some hope. BUT! We need everyone to help. Here’s what they said:
“So, I reached out to Hulu and the agent I spoke to told me that she’ll send in my content request but that’s only one [request]. She said if there’s enough people reaching out and asking for the show, they’ll seriously consider picking up the show, or at the very least buying the rights to it.
So, to do that, you need to:
- Got to help.hulu.com
- Scroll to the bottom where it says ‘contact us’
- Select ‘TV, Channels, & Movies’
- Choose ‘TV & Movie Availability’
- Choose ‘Chat with an agent’
There’s a likely chance you will be put in a line, just wait it out. The conversations aren’t timed and you can use open apps, but just keep the tab open and watch it until you get closer. Then, tell them how much this show means to you, or whatever you want really. Please do this, it could really do something!
And even if Hulu doesn’t pick it up, others still could…”
There is also a petition (or two) going on right now, so go sign that! If you own a Hulu account, or just start a free trial, you can also vote for the show. I’m not sure exactly where you can find that, but others might.
Please, please, please (heh) do this so that the show doesn’t get erased entirely. Even if we can only get a streaming service to buy season one, it will be worth it.

All paramount cares about is gaining money and the more that we retaliate against them for what they did, the better chance we have at saving the show!

So! Hulu has a suggestions submission and when it receives 100 votes, they’ll actually look at it - a suggestion for Rise Of The Pink Ladies has been entered, please go and vote for it if you have a Hulu or Disney+ account! Get Hulu to renew and save the series!

Hi my loves! Please let me take up a couple minutes of your time by explaining a new resource fans can use to request that Hulu pick up our show! I am also going to add this source to my pinned post, which is a list FULL of resources to help save this show. Please check it out!
In this resource, you personally chat with a Hulu representative over messages. This is a really great way to boost our chances because you get to chat with an actual person who works for Hulu and you can explain why our show deserves better treatment in your own words. This is a great resource if you do not like speaking over the phone! Every chat equals one request, and if we get multiple requests they will start a case that will be reported to Hulu’s higher ups. The more people who do this, the better our chances will be. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A HULU ACCOUNT TO DO THIS! :)
Here are the steps! Please follow these to the T.
1. go to help.hulu.com
2. scroll to the bottom where it says “contact us” and press that
3. scroll to “TV, Channels, and Movies” and that will give you three options. Pick “TV & Movie Availability”
4. That will show you options. Pick “Chat with an agent”
5. It will ask you to explain why you want to chat with an agent. Say “Please pick up Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and give it a season 2”
6. You might have a wait time. You can go to other apps but DO NOT CLOSE THE TAB OR YOU WILL LOSS YOUR SPOT! You will be put in contact with a Hulu agent as soon as possible.
7. When chatting, please be incredibly specific about what you want. Please request that Hulu pick up Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (yes, use the full title!) and request that Hulu give it a second season. You can add anything else you want but please explain to the agent how important this show is to you and include how amazing the representation is!
We have already had fans do this and the response we’ve gotten is fantastic!

Unfortunately Hulu is only available in the US and Japan, but keep sharing the info!!! Even if we can’t help directly the possibility that this show gets bought and the fantastic cast and crew haven’t put all that work in for it to get taken away so soon is so important!!!
They Canceled Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. Here’s a petition to switch it to another platform and save it.
This show portrays a great level of diversity that is hard to rival in modern television. It has an extremely dedicated fan base, but Paramount has decided to cancel it and remove the show from their platform in the next week, essentially making it impossible to watch.
You may be aware of this show’s queer representation. Losing it would be just another name in the bin of “great potential for wlw rep, without continuance”, which also includes Everything Sucks(2019), I Am Not Okay With this(2020), and many others.
Please do not let this great show die. The artwork of it all is enough to be worth something in the future. It’s not the writers and actors faults that Paramount of all things ended up being its home streaming service, leading to low stream numbers. They should not lose this potential— not to mention the ability to gain any profit in the long run with its removal— to grow and bring greater affect on society and culture.
I know some of you already shared it but I wanna share it too. Also, I noticed that people made two other petitions so I wanna say that we need to focus on this one!
